It takes a little getting used to locking in the temperature setting, but I really do like the induction cooktop. I chose this over the Frigidaire Gallery model because I didn™™t want the stainless trim. One disappointment is my salesman told me there was no difference in this one vs the Frigidaire Gallery other than the trim. Not so. There are fewer features on the settings. Even my instruction sheet that it came with has instructions for the additional features, which is deceiving because the lock works differently on this lower model. That was frustrating to get instructions that don™™t match your model. Frigidaire needs to update the instruction sheet to the features on this model! It seems to cook well thus far. And it™™s easy to clean with no control knobs and no trim. I love the cooler temperature around the burner and I have even cooked with paper towels under the pan to catch grease spatter! I™™ve had it about 2weeks. We chose Frigidaire because of the upper family brand reputation. And the Frigidaire line is less fuss and I didn™™t have to pay for a ton of features that I would have never used. But the 2-3 extra features on the Frigidaire™™s Gallery model would have been worth the small step up in price. But again I didn™™t really want the stainless trim. But it would have been nice if I had figured out the difference in the two models instead of finding it out after installation.

I love my new cooktop. This is my first induction so I am still on a learning curve regarding cooking with it, but I do like the way it cooks. I've never had the glass top before so I am learning how to care for it in the best ways; not hard, just different.

Easy to install, heats fast. I was surprised how many of my old pans were still usable. My only negative is the touch controls are somewhat hard to use when my hands are wet or covered with grease. Cooktop is much easier to clean than the Old smooth top.

System functions well. Getting used to the temperature controls requires some learning but once one has done that and has READ THE INSTRUCTION BOOKLET, it will function very well. Very satisfied with its performance

When you turn down the burner on a boiling pot, it immediately stops boiling. No boil over. Love the ease of temperature adjustment and having a timer built in to the cooktop. First thing I made was corned beef brisket, with all the trimmings. Perfect results!

I've had this cooktop for about a month. It is absolutely gorgeous. I was concerned the super shiny glass would be difficult to keep free of smudges, but all it takes is a light spray with vinegar, water, and a paper towel. Since the induction cooktop never gets terribly hot, I can start cleanup almost as soon as I finish cooking. The temperature controls to a little getting used to, but now that I have it down, I like the range of temperature control from less than a simmer to a raging boil.

This is our first induction cooktop that we purchased (our previous home already had one of a different brand). This unit is nice with a spacious surface top and plenty of elements. Cooking for Thanksgiving was a breeze with this unit. It is quiet and easy to operate. It is also easy to clean.

Just switched from gas to induction and I love the change. The burners have more power and the 10 heat levels give me a lot of control. It's easy to keep clean. The arrangement of burners is convenient. The handles of my cast iron pans stay cool while I'm cooking so I no longer need to whip out the pot holders. Lots of little advantages; don't miss the gas burners at all.

Cooktop is attractive and sleek. I wish it had the option of 1/2 increments in heating and a low setting for keeping food warm. It heats up quickly and is easy to clean. Installation was pretty easy however it did require a foam all around the under edges so the glass didn't sit right on top of the granite counter top.

This is now my 4th induction cooktop in 5 years (and 3 different homes). This l the first was on a slide-in range and worked very well, the second was a very high end cooktop only that was flawless, the 3rd was a completely dysfunctional cooktop (Thor brand) that only heated the inner 5 inch diameter and did so inconsistently. I disconnected myself and returned it the first month, it was so bad. This Frigidaire model was the replacement. It was on sale from a mid range price and got decent reviews. I took a change and am glad I did. It works great and looks good too. My only complaint is when using the dual burners for griddle cooking the back heats higher than the front. Side from that, it functions as induction is meant to and I'm happy to be cooking evenly again.

We are really enjoying the new induction cooktop to our kitchen cooking! We were concerned with using gas/propane due to emitting fuel fumes into our home when cooking so we decided to go with the induction cooktop instead. It's great! And it's fast too. Like boiling a pot of water is almost instant where before we had to wait 10 minutes. Very cool!

Cooktop is very powerful. It is easy to use and manage temperature settings.It is very shiny and shows finger prints. Requires thorough cleaning (easy enough) whenever it is touched. It only supports one bridge setup. All in all, it is an excellent value.

Operation of the 36™ cooktop is smooth. It responds well and is intuitive relative to pan size. It looks smart and sleek. Ceramic cleaner also works well. Unfortunately the timer function does not work. Disappointing for a brand new appliance. I was on hold on telephone for a total of 1.25 hours just to initiate assistance from Frigidaire. Appalling. Now an eight day wait for a technician to call.

Installation was easy enough to replace the gas cooktop. There is one place in the instructions where there is a mistake. The drawing shows a mounting hole for the hold-down brackets lined up with the center line (and it should be the *center* of the bracket lined up with the center line).It does heat up the pans fast. We have found that our 8 inch carbon steel pan heats unevenly (I think the pan may be too small to cover the outer region of the largest induction element, so it only gets heated in the center). Things work better if you have 6, 7, and 10 inch contact areas. Our induction-ready al-clad appear to work better than the carbon steel. Right-sized cast iron works well, but it heats slower.It does make a little bit of a buzzing noise. Lighter weight pans make more noise than heavy ones.

I really like how easy the cleanup is on the cooktop. It took me a minute to find quality cookware that I could use on it and I was sad to give up some of my nice pots but I am really enjoying the new pots and the cooktop. It has taken some trial and error to figure out timing on the cooking with the induction, but it cooks more evenly and quicker than my old one use to.

This cooktop cooks and distributes heat evenly and is highly efficient. It also adjust to the pot/pan size so no heat is wasted. Since it is induction, the burners heat very quickly and cook quickly though it requires caution after the burner is shut off because heat does not dissipate as quickly as might be expected. Overall, it was well worth the price and is also beautiful to look at. We bought the 36" and there is plenty of room for many pots and pans. Controls are super easy to use and we love the built in timer. Very satisfied.

Prior to my purchase I had a different brand cooktop with the griddle option and loved it. With my purchase I made sure i had the same griddle option. My only complaint about the frigidaire brand is when I use the griddle option it makes a noise like a humming/whistling fan like a mini jet engine. I was not expecting that since my last cooktop did not do that. Slightly disappointing. It is very simple to clean, water and a soft cloth. cleaners leave streaks.I'm still getting the hang of increasing and decreasing temperature settings on the individual burners. My old cooktop had a plus and minus button to increase or decrease temp for each burner. The frigidaire i just purchased has a "slide" function for increasing or decreasing burner temp which sounds great but is not as easy to use and is some times tempermental. Cook times have siginificantly decreased with my new cooktop and I love how quickly the burners cool to the touch. So I would say this cooktop is not perfect, but still very nice.

Owned inductions previously. Elements heat up quickly as expected. No problems with cook top. Only negative is I do wish slide controls had +/- buttons to make slight temperature increase or decreases. Top Cleans very easily and looks great. The bridge burners work great with flat griddle pan. Would definitely recommend.

Not only is it beautiful, it works much better than the gas stove I had before this one. It heats up extremely quickly. I also like the safety features. I have two younger children who were scared of the gas stove but I will start teaching them to cook on this cook top.

This model is sleek and very nice looking. It does everything the manufacture wrote about it. I really like the amount of space on the cooktop to work and the left side is set up to handle a long pan. The most most impressive part to me is how quickly this stove can boil water with the power boost button. I am very impressed with the accuracy of the temperature controls. I highly recommend this cooktop as it is also a breeze to cleanup spills.
