The oven is very efficient but I wish the cooking area was larger. The gas connection would work better if the tubing was prositioned through a side rather than the bottom side.

A note on self-installation: the oven's gas line that is already attached does not fit the recommended gas line that is advertised as needed for installation. We bought it when we placed the order for the stove, trying to ensure we had what was needed for an installer. Instead, that connector didn't work when we decided to install it ourselves. My husband had to make a trip to the hardware store to get another line that swiveled and fit. The first time it was connected and turned on we smelled gas. The gas line was re-connected and no more gas smell. We had the gas company come out to check the connectors before we used it so that we were sure there were no more leaks. You may want to remove the oven's attached hose and replace it with a type that does fit the connector on the oven and your permanent gas line connector so that you don't end up with our issue. We already had the oven in place and it would have been extremely difficult to remove it, so now there are two hoses connected which the gas company didn't like, but it was safe! After not having a regular oven for a couple of years, I purchased this to replace a broken one. We are very limited to the width without an entire cabinet rebuild, so this model fit the bill. I baked in it the day after installation and tested out it's functions. Right away, I discovered that the back of the oven does heat hotter than the front(on regular bake cycle), which I've found typical of most gas ovens, so I made adjustments to my way of baking sheets of cookies. One of the other things, the thing I like least, is that the oven seems to get hotter and bake faster after multiple sheets of cookies are baked. Each time, I had to reduce baking time to keep them from overbrowning. What I really do like is the electric broil function, it works great, and I had not noticed as one of the features when looking online before purchase. I also used the proofing function for frozen bread rolls, and it worked well, heats to 100 degrees. Besides cookies, I baked a meatloaf and it cooked perfectly in the allotted time frame. I also used convection bake function for a particular flat bar cookie recipe that's supposed to be somewhat dry, and it browned very well, although I had to keep an eye on the time and bake for a shorter time than usual.Another thing, I'm used to having a drawer that pulls out below the oven, and there's a shelf space there, but you can only place things in there and not have a pull-out.Overall, I'm satisfied with the functions I've tried, but have not yet tried to use the air fry mode.

I purchased this model because of the air fry, convection and steam cleaning features. What I found disappointing is the face that even though one of the main features is the air fry capability, the tray has to be purchased on line; does not come equipped with the tray. WHY? The control panel is not intuitive and takes study of the instruction manual before use. I also wish the storage compartment under the oven were a pull-out drawer instead of just being a cavity. In my home, the storage compartment is 6 inches off the floor and as a senior citizen, I find it too difficult to use. On the positive side, the oven preheats in a very short time, love the steam bake feature that is perfect for baking bread. I also like the steam clean feature for the ease of cleaning without harsh chemicals. The convection feature allows heat to circulate and cook foods more evenly. On that note, I would like to bake three racks of cookies at a time but the oven is only equipped with 2 racks. Additional racks can be purchased online but it is for a set of 2. I only want one additional rack. I have not yet used the broil function so cannot comment on that feature. I'm looking forward to roasting my Thanksgiving turkey in this new oven.

I had never heard of steam roast and of course had to try it. I cooked a pork roast and a chuck roast at the same time and OMG were they delicious. I loved the crust on the outside and the inside was moist and tender. Can't wait to try it again.

Very Frustrated -update

I purchased the 24" Single Gas Wall Oven with Air Fry and it was delivered on 12/21/2023 and I have only been able to use it three times. It worked perfectly for baking the first time I used it but when I went to use it the second time, it started to make a loud fan noise. I could use it for warming up items but if I wanted to use a higher temperature the fan noise got worse and would not heat up to 400 degrees. I just put up with it until March and then I called the customer service and they scheduled a service tech. At that time the service tech that came said he needed to order a motor and would be back to install it. About a month later a different service tech came and after installing the new fan motor, he was checking to see if the oven was working correctly and discovered that the sound had not disappeared. He then stated that it was the other fan that was the problem. He said he would get that ordered and someone would come back to install it. Well, the first tech that came just returned yesterday and installed the the new fan. This service tech only checked to see if the oven was working after I stopped him before he left and asked he if he checked to see if it was working properly. Not to my surprise the oven wouldn't even start up and the panel showed an error. The service tech said he was going to call Frigidaire to see what needed to be done. I just don't know what to do. I have been without a new $1900 oven that doesn't work since December.

The oven thus far has been fine. I have not used it for a big meal yet so its performance will be tested then.I am however ever disappointed that the broiler pan, air fry pan, etc. are additional costs. So I will not be able to use it for more than just an oven.

The oven works great. The only thing that is bad is that although you proudly claim it is an air fryer, you do not supply the air fryer part. The price I paid for this oven was more than I paid for a stove. It is so cheap of Frigidaire to not include the air fryer rack in the price. To have to buy it at a high cost is reprehensible and you do not even include a broil pan.
