We recently had to buy a replacement for our refrigerator in an emergency. We bought this one because it was in stock. Read the reviews and several people said how noisy it was. Thinking some people complain about anything I went ahead and purchased this one because quite a few people liked it. Needless to say while running it has a loud annoying rattling sound to which they tell us they can do nothing. We were told the newer models sound like this. I was thrilled that I was able to get a french door refrigerator; I hadn't considered it because I thought my kitchen was too small. GE makes this model that fits in smaller spaces. The fridge is so deep and has so much interior space. Thrilled! Originally posted on www.ge.com

I was purchasing appliances for a kitchen remodel, and wanted to buy GE products. My refrigerator fits partially into a recess, so size was a critical factor. This model fits perfectly, and looks great! The shelves adjust to make organizing the interior easier, and I can fit everything I need inside. The freezer compartment is roomy, the icemaker produces prodigious amounts of ice, and there is even a light. All in all, I'm really happy with my purchase! Originally posted on www.ge.com

We needed a small refrigerator to fit our space and had our last GE for 12 years before it broke. So far we are disappointed that you can't place the three shelves do that a Britta/juice carton/milk carton can fit on the lowest level. There is now a wasted shelf that is 2 inches high. Also when you pull out the freezer door you have to be careful or it will come off the runners. It is very wobbly. Originally posted on www.ge.com

The main reason we bought this refrigerator was the size. We live in a Continuing Care Retirement Community and the refrigerator that came with our unit was very small and was not able to keep up with our need for ice. Also we have very limited space. This appears to be a very nice refrigerator but there were no setup instructions included with the purchase. I managed to figure it out but took approximately 1.5 hours. Was very securely packed with an overkill of tape which was main reason for length of setup. Originally posted on www.ge.com
