Range works great. Does everything you expect a range to do. Some accessories should have been included with the product. A center grate to swap out the griddle over the center burner and an ABSOLUTELY necessary trim kit to give the installation a clean look. Both of these accessories are an expensive add on to the purchase.

This gas range is what the contractor put in the house it was a flip...we had no choice in the matter he would not replace/exchange for different bran. The burner grates and center griddle are horrible. They have an extremely ruff texture and will scratch and ruin the bottom of your pots. The center griddle for all intents and purposes is useless...Its teflon-coated aluminum and is ruff like the the burner grates. I attempted to season and burn it in first. As a test I tried to grill a small 8oz sirloin steak along with a boneless chicken breast as I had anticipated a total mess. A properly seasoned/burnt-in stainless griddle is wonderful to cook on. About the only thing this range has going for it is looks...thats it. If this is the best GE can do then back up five yards punt and get out of the gas range business.... My wife and I have always cooked with gas and have purchased many gas ranges over the coarse of our 48 years together. This by far is the worst range we have ever had again We had no choice with this and for the record we have never owned a GE appliance of any kind and certainly never will in the future.

What I love most is the grate on the top. I can just slide heavy cookware across without having to lift. The flat surface in the middle is great for grilling veggies. And the oven takes no time to heat up. Also the steam self cleaning oven is thorough.

Bought the range in August and have loved it. Our house had all gas except for the old electric Jenn-Aire range. We changed to gas for the range as well and absolutely love cooking w gas. Most chefs and fine cooks prefer gas and this GE range is great

Range cooks and cleans nicely. Is a good deal for the money but get an extra grill or grate for the center. While the grates claim to be cast iron the griddle is coated aluminum. Its already chipping/peeling after 3 weeks of light use. I only wiped it down because I thought it was cast iron. No dishwasher not even any soap. All the money I saved on a sale I will spend buying a grate or griddles over time to replace the iron griddle in the middle. Otherwise Im happy so far.

This was great purchase. The griddle is great for weekend breakfast grilled cheese lunch. The burners burn evenly a nice blue flame. We purchased the 30 WB48T10088 Rack Oven Slide and even though the specs say Wall Oven it also fits the range just in time for the Christmas turkey. The range matches our GE Microwave and refrigerator.

The stainless steel finish in the front control is weak. Within a few days the finish was scratched from wiping grease spatters. My other appliances dont scratch like this. Youd think a surface that must be wiped with each use would have a better finish. I never use abrasives.

Great Cooktop - but the Steam Clean is a joke

This gas range came with the purchase of our new home. I LOVE the cooktop - the burners are great and we often use the center griddle. But today I used the steam clean for the first time after 5 months - I know I know Im not big on cleaning ovens. But Im really disappointed. Since were limited on what we CAN do to clean the oven nothing abrasive only water/vinegar for the door to not have a great built-in cleaning system is problematic. I cannot get the door cleaned no matter how hard I scrub with a soft sponge. After 2 steam cleans its still dirty not terribly dirty I dont use the oven often but its definitely not showing any difference than before I started the steam clean process. This has really bummed me out - because I really like the cooking functions - but its still important to pay attention to cleaning functions too... If you like an oven thats easy to clean I wouldnt recommend.

Visually it has enough black to match my other all black appliances and could use either a Stainless Steel or all Black Hood . It has been a week and I love the powerful top cooking and LOVE the gas oven. I find myself using the griddle to rest my very small Turkish coffee decanter and wooden spoon while cooking. Simmering is beyond awesome. My only complaint is the position of the front controls and knobs as they get splattered on during cooking. I solved the problem by laying paper over the controls held down by magnetic sheet. I place a small towel over the knobs away from the flame of course while sauteing.

I bought this to replace an older Monogram that I loved but the parts are no longer made. This model is all gas where my older was split fuel. I really prefer the all gas as they are easier to repair and have less working parts. While not as high end a model I still love the look and ease of use and of course the dependability. The slide-in models are more polished and professional looking as well. Hope to have many years with this one too

Im taking the time to write this review - hoping itll help someone else as they agonize through all the Kitchen Range choices out there We bought this range 6 months ago when we did a complete remodel of our Kitchen - and its absolutely fantastic - I LUV IT. Before making my choice I drove myself nuts - looking at a ton of different brands/models and reading all of the reviews I could get my hands on. Maybe that sounds overboard but I knew itd be a one-time choice for hopefully the next 20yrs - and I wanted to be happy with my purchase. my husband does zero cooking so he wasnt interested in participating in my comparison shopping Im not a gourmet cook and I dont do a lot of fancy-schmancy complicated baking but still... I do enjoy cooking for us every day... I wanted a NICE reliable range that did a great job with range-top cooking did nice even baking - AND looked good in my new Kitchen Id heard about hot-spots in gas ovens so at first I was thinking about dual-fuel -- but the PRICE just seemed insane to me Then I started reading all the reviews on THIS range and everyone said not a problem for baking hot-spots. The griddle in the middle of the range-top was a big draw for me. My husband liked the more-modern look of a slide-in rather than having the high-back up the wall... and I liked the way the control knobs were slightly angled on the front rather than being flat on top or on the face of the range. do we sound picky? ok... we are... ANYWAY - we bought this Range and WE LOVE THIS RANGE #1. The flame control on all the burners is incredible. You can take them down soooo low that you have to really look to make sure theyre still on but they ARE - and they stay on for perfect simmering low--slow. #2. The cooktop surface around the burners is a breeze to clean up if there are spills - and it still looks nice shiny black just like it came brand new. #3. The griddle in the middle is the bomb. Great flame control - cooks perfect pancakes - nuthin sticks - and it cleans up looking brand new every time. #4. The oven control pad in the middle is logical and easy to operate - you dont need to keep reading the manual to run the stove Its so sensical - LUV THAT. #5. The oven bakes at the perfect exact temperature you set - I know cuz Ive tested it with the oven thermometer I had from my old range. This new oven temp is right ON. #6. No hot-spots when baking Ive tried several different things now and as long as you dont crowd the oven and allow air to circulate - it bakes VERY evenly Perfect. Crazy as it may sound... after remodeling our entire house the past 2yrs I think THIS RANGE is my best/favorite purchase. No kidding Every day while cooking morning eggs or preparing dinner... Im soooooo glad I bought it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
